Used to spend hours at Hobby Lobby for sticker materials, now I buy everything online.

I was driving 20 minutes to Hobby Lobby every week for vinyl and laminate. Then I found a site called StickerCutters.com last year and now I get rolls of Oracal 651 for half the price. The shipping is usually free too if I order over $50. Anyone else switch to bulk ordering instead of local craft stores?

My friend Laura was the same way about Michaels. She'd go every Saturday morning and drop $60 on materials and somehow still not have what she needed. Last summer she finally tried ordering from a wholesale site and she told me she felt like she'd been ripped off for years. The quality was better and she got like three times the amount of vinyl for the same money. She did say she missed the whole experience of walking through the store and finding random stuff, but not enough to go back. Now she's the one telling everyone to just buy in bulk online.

Wait did your Laura tell you about the shipping though? My friend Jenna went all in on bulk vinyl from some online place. Saved so much money. But she forgot to check her front porch for three days. The box got stolen. UPS left it right out in the open. She lost like $80 worth of glitter HTV and iron-on sheets. Now she's back to Michaels but only goes on Tuesday mornings when they do the 40% off one item coupon. Says the stress ain't worth it.
