Tried both matte and glossy finishes for my bumper stickers - huge difference

I printed 50 test stickers last month with a matte finish and 50 with glassy. The matte ones looked fine in my workshop but OUTSIDE they got dirty way faster and the colors faded after just 3 weeks of sun. The glassy ones still look almost new after a full month on my friend's truck in Phoenix. Has anyone else found that matte just doesn't hold up as well on bumpers?

Matte finish has its place but maybe you just bought cheap matte stickers. I've had matte decals on my car door for over a year and they're fine. The sun here isn't as brutal as Phoenix though. Glossy does seem to hold up better against dirt and grime no doubt. But is a sticker really that big of a deal to worry about after a few weeks?

Wait, @faithb78, isn't paying $5 for something that falls apart in a month worse than just buying a cheap sticker? Decals are decals, pick your poison.
