Thought those cut vinyl letter kits were junk until my buddy's tailgate in Reno changed my mind
Last spring I helped my buddy do a tailgate setup in Reno and he pulled out one of those cheap cut vinyl letter kits I always rolled my eyes at. I figured the letters would peel off in a week or look crooked and bubbly. He laid them on a clean window with a squeegee and a drop of dish soap water, and 9 months later they are still stuck on solid with no curling edges at all. I ran my thumb over one corner expecting it to lift and it would not budge. Now I am half thinking about doing a run of my own "MY OTHER CAR IS A BICYCLE" gags with that method instead of paying a shop $8 a pop. What I still do not trust is the outdoor stuff on painted metal after a hot summer, so has anyone left these on a bumper through a full Phoenix August and lived to tell it?
