Heard a guy at the print shop complaining about fade-proof stickers

He was yelling about how his vinyl stickers lost color after 4 months in the Arizona sun, and it got me thinking if there's a specific laminate that actually holds up. Anyone tried that UV-blocking overlay or is it just hype?
