Chose matte over glossy laminate for my bumper stickers last month and I'm never going back
I've been printing my own stickers at home for about a year now and I always used glossy laminate because it was cheaper at my local shop in Portland. Last month I had a batch of 50 stickers with a rain joke on them and I decided to try matte instead, cost me about $8 more total. The matte ones don't show fingerprints and they don't glare when the sun hits them, which matters a lot on a rear window. I put a few on my truck and after 3 weeks of rain and car washes they still look brand new, no peeling at the corners. The glossy ones I did before started lifting after maybe 2 weeks. Anyone else switched finishes and noticed a big difference, or is it just me?
