A trip to that weird gift shop in Sedona made me rethink bumper sticker fonts

I was wandering through this little shop near the main strip last month, the one with all the crystals and dreamcatchers. They had a whole rack of bumper stickers near the register, and I noticed something odd. Every single sticker used this super curly, hard-to-read font, like a wedding invitation you can't actually make out from the car behind you. Who's gonna get that message? I snapped a photo of my favorite one, a silly saying about parking karma, and now I'm wondering if I should just stick with a bold sans-serif for my new design. Has anyone else tried a funky font and regretted it?

Oh wow, I actually read somewhere that cursive on bumper stickers makes them harder to read from a distance!

Cursive fonts are just fancy illegible puzzles.
