Took me 3 weeks to learn my weekly spread needed exactly 5 columns
I kept running out of room for Friday tasks and blamed my handwriting, so I redrew the whole thing 4 times in one sitting. Turned out my column widths were 2 squares too narrow and I never counted how many days I actually plan for. Has anyone else redone a layout this many times before it clicked?
Counting is one of those things we all think we can skip and then it bites us. Same thing happens with measuring twice for furniture or checking if the dishwasher fits before buying it. People trust their eyeballs way too much when a quick count or measure would save hours of redoing work.
