That week my bujo fell apart on a Tuesday and I lost 3 months of tracking
I had a really rough week back in March where my bullet journal just stopped working for me. I was on page 145 of a Leuchtturm and the spine cracked so bad that pages started falling out. Lost my habit tracker for February and a whole month of meal planning notes. Tried to salvage it with washi tape but it kept snagging on my pen. I spent the whole week feeling like I was failing at organizing my life. Has anyone else had a journal literally fall apart on them mid-year?

Oh gosh, that is just the worst feeling. I had a similar thing happen with a Moleskine a few years back. The binding gave out right where I kept my yearly goal list and my budget spreadsheets, and I lost a whole quarter's worth of expense tracking. I tried to tape it back together but it just made things worse, the tape kept peeling off and taking bits of paper with it. It really does make you feel like your whole system is a failure, doesn't it? I ended up just starting fresh in a new notebook and I made a rule for myself to never cram more than 200 pages into one journal, even if I have to skip a month of notes.

Oh man, @nina_hall I feel this so hard! The binding on my Leuchtturm gave up last spring and I lost six months of my reading journal. I had this whole color coded system for genres and it just scattered everywhere. I tried that washi tape trick everyone talks about online but yeah, it just made a sticky mess. Now I buy those thin little notebooks on purpose so I don't get tempted to stuff them full.
