That tip about using a highlighter for future tasks actually works
A guy on here told me to try highlighting future tasks in a different color so they stand out from weekly stuff. I thought it would just make a mess, but I tried it last month with a yellow highlighter. Turns out I was missing about half my future tasks before because they blended in with the weekly log. Now I flip ahead and see them immediately, and I haven't missed a single deadline since. Has anyone else found a simple trick like this that fixed a big problem?

Just one thing - you said yellow highlighter but that's actually one of the WORST colors for this trick because it blends in with white paper. You need an orange or pink one, those really POP against the page so you can't miss them even when you're flipping fast. I switched to neon orange after my first week and now I spot my future tasks from ACROSS the room.

Try neon orange like iris said, that color really does jump off the page. It got me thinking about how lots of small everyday problems are just about visibility - like how I never used to find my keys until I put a bright orange keychain on them, or how I kept forgetting to take my meds until I put the bottle on my coffee mug every night. The trick is making important stuff physically pop out from everything else around it. Once you get that idea, you start seeing a hundred other places to apply it.
