Switched from a monthly spread to a weekly one and it actually stuck

I spent like 8 months doing these big monthly spreads with pretty boxes and color coding. Looked great but I never opened it after day 3. Then last month I tried a simple weekly layout in a pocket notebook. Two pages, Monday through Sunday, a tiny task box for each day. I actually fill it in at night and check it in the morning. Feels less like art class and more like a tool. Has anyone else found a layout that looked boring but worked way better?

Tried the same thing. Tiny weekly grids are way less pressure so I actually use them.

Oh for real, tiny grids are a lifesaver. Like, I used to try those monthly calendars and just stare at them like a deer in headlights, all those empty boxes waiting to be filled. Now I do a little five-day grid and it feels almost like a game, just checking off one or two things and calling it a win. Plus, when you only see a few days at a time, the future doesn't look so scary. I swear, it's the only reason I don't just live on the couch eating chips.
