Spent 4 hours trying to fix a wonky habit tracker layout

I got this idea for a multi-month habit tracker that would look all clean and minimal, but my ruler kept slipping and the lines came out crooked on every single page. After redoing the whole spread three times with different margin sizes, I finally gave up and just used sticky notes. Has anyone else found a simple way to map out those trackers without losing an afternoon to perfectionism?

Honestly though is it really that deep? It's just lines on paper not a master's thesis or anything. Tbh you probably stressed over something nobody else would even notice.

Try mapping it out on graph paper first then transferring the marks to your main notebook. That way you don't ruin the whole spread if your ruler slips, you just eyeball the measurements from the graph paper grid and pencil it in light before going over it darker. I started doing that after I spent a whole Sunday redoing a sleep tracker and still ended up with one column way wider than the rest.

Oof I've been there, the ruler slip struggle is real.
