Rant: I used a cheap notebook from the drugstore for a year, then switched to a $28 Leuchtturm. The difference is insane.

I thought a notebook was just a notebook, you know? The cheap one bled through with every pen, the pages fell out, and the cover warped after a month in my bag. I finally caved and got the nicer one. The paper is thick, the dots are actually light grey and don't show through, and it lies flat. It makes me actually want to use it every day. Has anyone else had a notebook upgrade that completely changed their journaling game?

Right? It's crazy how a good notebook makes you want to write more. That paper quality is a total game changer.

The cover on mine got a little wavy too, @the_daniel.

Yeah, that wavy cover thing is so common. I read somewhere it's usually from humidity changes, like if you leave it in a hot car or a damp bag. Makes total sense, @the_daniel is right about the paper quality pulling you in, but the cover material seems to have its own issues. Kind of a bummer when the outside doesn't match the great stuff on the inside. Maybe they'll fix that in the next version.
