My sister said my weekly spreads looked like a chore list

She pointed out last month that my pages were just tasks in boxes with no color or fun. I used to think a bullet journal had to be super neat and only for work. Now I add a small doodle or use a light blue pen for my Saturday plans. Has anyone else started adding more personal stuff after getting a comment like that?

Girl YES that's exactly what happened to me too, right when I added a washi tape border everything felt less like a chore!

My bullet journal is just black pen on dotted paper. Honestly, the simple layout helps me actually get things done instead of stressing about making it pretty.
