My friend said my weekly spread had too much going on, so I tried a 4 box layout and I'm not going back
I showed my friend Dana my bullet journal at a coffee shop in Portland last month and she just stared at it for a minute. She said "I can't even tell where to look first" and honestly she was right, I had washi tape, doodles, three colors of pen and a habit tracker all fighting for space. So I tried something simple for March: one page split into 4 boxes, top left is tasks, top right is notes, bottom left is my week at a glance, bottom right is whatever random stuff comes up. Setting it up takes me about 5 minutes on Sunday instead of the 30 I was spending before. I finish my to do list now instead of avoiding the page because it stressed me out. Anyone else ditch the fancy spreads for something plain like this? Curious if you kept it simple or went back to decorating.
