Just wasted $60 on those "minimalist" stencils from Instagram
Bought a pack of 5 stencil sets for my bullet journal layout headers. Looked cool in the ads but they smudged ink on 3 of my spreads and the alignment was off by 2mm every time. Anyone else toss money at bad journal supplies?

Ugh, I FEEL this. Had the EXACT same problem with a set of "precision" stencils off Etsy last month, bled through my journal so bad I had to scrap two weekly spreads. Best advice I got was to stick to cheap acrylic stencils from the craft store and use a stencil brush instead of a marker, saved my bullet journal and my wallet.

Yeah the brush trick is huge. I use a little sponge applicator instead, zero bleed every time. Those Etsy stencils are such a gamble, not worth the headache.
