I switched to a pencil for my weekly spreads after 2 years of only using pens

My layouts used to be full of messy cross-outs when plans changed (which they always do). Now I can just erase and move things around, and my journal looks way cleaner. Anyone else find a simple tool change made a big difference?

Oh totally. Read a blog post that called pencils the ultimate "forgiving" tool for planning. Makes so much sense now.

Pencils are forgiving, sure, but have you ever tried a whiteboard? That's the real king of changing your mind. You can wipe away a whole plan in one swipe, no eraser dust needed. Pencils are great for detail, but for big, messy planning, give me a marker and a big blank wall any day.

My 2B pencil has outlasted three whiteboards that all ghosted.
