I finally stuck with a daily habit tracker for 4 whole weeks
I started a new bullet journal spread in August just tracking water intake and sleep. For the first time ever I actually filled in every single square for a whole month. It sounds so small but I usually quit by day 5. Has anyone else found a specific tracker that just clicked for them?

Habit trackers are a trap, honestly. They make you feel productive without actually being productive. Staring at a colored square for drinking water doesn't mean you're hydrated, it means you're just good at coloring in boxes. Four weeks of that and what have you really changed? Probably nothing except your anxiety about missing a day. What's the point of tracking sleep if you're still tired all the time?

The "coloring in boxes" thing is spot on. I used to be obsessed with streaks until I realized I was just stressing about keeping a number going instead of actually doing the thing. What finally worked for me was ditching the fancy apps and just putting a post-it note on my bathroom mirror with three simple goals for the day. No colors, no tracking, just a quick glance to remember what I wanted to do. If I did two out of three, that was still progress. You gotta find a system that actually fits your life, not some influencer's perfect routine that makes you feel like a failure for missing a day.
