Appreciation post: I filled up my first bullet journal after 3 years and the page count surprised me

Everyone talks about finishing a journal in a year, but mine took ages because I only used it for big project planning, not daily logs. When I finally glued in the last page, I counted and it was only 87 pages total. That felt weirdly low compared to the massive, artistic ones you see online, but it means it actually worked for my slow, methodical style. Has anyone else had a journal last way longer than they expected?

Quality over page count, right?

Seriously? Quality means nothing if there's barely any of it. What good is a perfect ten-page chapter if the story goes nowhere for years? Some of the best stuff ever came from writers just pumping out pages and figuring it out as they went. Look at old serial novels or even some web comics. The sheer amount of content is what builds a world and lets ideas really grow. Waiting forever for a tiny "perfect" bit is how stories die.
