Took 11 months to fix our grocery spreadsheet mess
My wife and I kept double-counting the same subscriptions across three different tracking sheets, so I finally sat down one Sunday to merge everything into one master file. Turned out the whole problem was the gas station purchases, we were logging them under both food and auto. 11 months of arguing over who spent what, solved with one afternoon and a pivot table. Anyone else waste that long on a fix that took three hours?

Gas station stops got us too, we were splitting them between food and car for way too long. Now we just put every gas purchase under auto, even the snacks, saves the headache.
