Thought meal planning was a scam until I actually did it for a full week

I always figured meal planning was just for influencers with perfect fridges, but I gave it a shot after wasting $60 on takeout in one week. Prepped five dinners on Sunday for about $45 total, and I didn't order delivery once. Anyone else find a budgeting habit they wrote off actually works?

Used to roll my eyes at meal prep too... thought it was for people with way too much time on their hands. Then I added up how much I was dropping on lunch at the deli near work and it was honestly embarrassing. Made a big batch of chili one Sunday and ate it for four days straight, saved like 30 bucks that week alone. Kinda opened my eyes to how much small habits add up when you actually try them.

Honestly, I was the same way. I always thought meal prepping was for people who were super organized and had nothing better to do on a Sunday. But seeing how much those fast food lunches add up over a month, I'm starting to think I should give it a shot too.
