The cashier at Aldi questioned my coupon stack like it was a crime scene

I had $47 worth of groceries and a pile of digital coupons that brought it down to $12, and the guy just stared at me and said 'how did you even do that' like I was running some kind of scheme. Has anyone else gotten the third degree for saving too aggressively at checkout?

That 47 bucks down to 12 is some serious work, but did the cashier actually check your coupons against the fine print or just give you a hard time? I've had them try to deny a digital coupon because it was "one per transaction" when it clearly wasn't, and you gotta know your store's policy to push back without getting kicked out. What was the item that gave you the biggest discount in that stack?

Oh yeah, the cashier actually pulled that "one per transaction" line on me with a coupon that clearly said "one per item" in bold. That 50% off laundry detergent was the real MVP, dropped a $14 bottle to $7 and basically carried the whole savings load.
