My emergency fund hit $500 and I didn't even notice

I set up an automatic transfer of $20 to a savings account every payday back in January. I just logged in today and saw the balance is $520. I never check this account, so it was a real shock. It's not a huge amount, but it's the first time I've had a cushion that didn't come from my main checking. Has anyone else had a small, automatic thing add up without them watching it?

What's your next savings goal now?

Spare change buying a plane ticket? That's cute. My round-up app bought me a single large coffee last month and then I had to throw the app away because it kept making me feel broke. My next savings goal is to save up enough to afford the privilege of saving.

My old roommate did that with a round-up app on her card. She bought a plane ticket with the spare change after a year.
