My dad said I'd blow my food budget by March. It's June and I'm $340 under.
When I started my $250 a month food budget back in January, my dad laughed and said I would quit by March because he failed at it twice. He told me to just write my spending in a notebook like he did, but I put my grocery money on a separate card instead so it hurts when I swipe. I hit $340 under budget so far, mostly because I stopped buying lunch near my office in Worcester, which was running me $11 a day. Now he wants me to show him the card thing, anyone else had a parent doubt their setup and then ask for help?
