My brother told me to track every single coffee for a month

Honestly, I always thought tracking small daily buys was pointless. He said 'Just write it down, you don't have to stop.' So I did it last month and it added up to $87. Ngl, seeing that number on paper hit different. I switched to making it at home most days and put $50 of that into my car fund. Has anyone else had a small habit add up to a surprising amount?

Wow, $87 is actually low for a month of coffee out. My daily latte habit was over $120 last time I checked. Good on you for catching it early and saving most of it. That visual proof from tracking really does change your brain. Makes you question every other little spend too.

Man, tracking coffee sounds way better than my old habit. I used to grab a gas station energy drink every single morning. Felt like a small thing. Did the math one week and nearly choked. That junk was costing me more than my phone bill. Switched to cheap store brand cans, felt like a genius.
