I tracked every penny for a month vs just guessing, and the gap was $400

I wrote down every coffee and gas station stop, which showed me where my 'little' money was really going. Anyone else find that one method just clicks for them while another totally fails?

Tracking every penny is how you find the leaks... four hundred dollars is a huge deal for most people. That's a car payment or a week of groceries just vanishing. Calling it "just four hundred" misses the point of building any good habit. The work is the whole point, because it changes how you see money.
