Hit a random $10,000 savings milestone and it felt like winning a mini lottery

So I was just casually checking my bank app last Tuesday, not expecting anything special. I've been putting away small amounts here and there for about two years, like skipping takeout once a week and canceling that gym membership I never used. But somehow I hit exactly $10,000, which is way more than I ever thought I'd save in my 20s. It's not like I'm rich or anything, but seeing that number just sitting there felt really good after all those little sacrifices. I didn't plan to hit a round number, it just happened. My roommate asked why I was smiling at my phone, and I told her I felt like I found money in an old coat pocket. Has anyone else had a random savings milestone pop up out of nowhere like that?

Not to be negative, but $10k just feels like a normal number to me, not some crazy windfall.

Depends on where you're at financially I guess. For some people that's still a big deal, for others just another Tuesday.
