Finally figured out a way to stop my grocery bill from creeping up

I started planning meals around the 'manager's special' meat section at my local store, which saved me about $40 last month. What's your go-to spot for finding good deals on food?

Oh nice, that's actually super smart. I always check that section too, but I never plan my whole week around it. I mean, last week I got this huge pack of chicken thighs for like half price because they were close to the sell-by date. Just froze them right away. My other spot is the discount produce rack, the one with the kinda sad looking fruits and veggies. Perfect for soups or smoothies where it doesn't really matter. Idk, it feels like a little treasure hunt sometimes.

Honestly, that discount produce rack is a total game changer for making stock.

My local Kroger's discount rack is basically my produce supplier, even if the bell peppers look a little defeated.
