Finally Chose a weekly meal plan over just buying what looks good and saved $60

I used to just walk into the grocery store and grab whatever caught my eye, which always led to wasted food and random $150 receipts. Last month I sat down for 15 minutes on Sunday to plan 4 dinners using stuff I already had in the pantry. Has anyone else noticed a big difference in their grocery bill after meal planning?

Oh absolutely, I had the same experience. I started doing my Sunday planning a few months back and my first week I saved about $50 just because I wasn't grabbing a bag of chips or a random box of cookies every time I walked past the snack aisle. It's funny how much stuff adds up when you're not paying attention. I also started keeping a running list on my phone during the week for things I actually run out of, which helps me stick to the plan even more.

Wait, you really spent just 15 minutes planning and that saved you $60? Ngl that's pretty wild honestly, I spent like an hour doing the same thing and only saved about $30 my first week. Tbh it kind of blows my mind that a quick Sunday sit-down can cut that much waste out of your grocery run.
