Vent: I thought booking a flight for Tuesday was always cheaper, but my Denver trip proved me wrong.
Checked prices for 3 weeks straight and a Thursday departure was $80 less, so now I always run searches for every day of the week before buying.

Honestly, I still buy into that Tuesday myth every single time like it's a religion I can't quit. Ngl, I've paid the "stupid tax" so many times on Monday flights that my wallet should have its own support group. Tbh, my flight-booking strategy is basically just throwing darts at a calendar and hoping for the best.

Yeah, that "Tuesday is cheaper" rule got stuck in my head too. I had the same thing happen with a trip to Phoenix last fall, where a Wednesday flight was way less. Now I just assume all that old advice is useless and check the whole week.

Totally feel that, @the_robin. I once booked a flight for a Monday because of that old tip and my friend who flew Thursday paid half what I did.
