Bike shares often leave you stranded far from stations when you need them most. Walking tours give way better local insight anyhow!

Understand where you're coming from, @faithg26. Bike shares used to be bad, but now apps show bikes and docks live. You can check first so you don't get stuck. Walking tours teach you about the area, but bikes let you see more places on your own. I use both to get the full picture, lol. With some planning, bike shares are good when you need them.

Right, because nothing says vacation fun like checking an app every five minutes to see if a bike dock still has space. You get to see more places, sure, mostly the inside of a phone screen while you hunt for a parking spot. Walking tours might be slow, but at least your main problem is sore feet, not a two mile walk to return a bike.
