Can we talk about those 'skip the line' passes for the Vatican

I paid 45 euros extra for one last year, thinking it would save hours... but the regular line moved just as fast. Has anyone else found these passes are a total waste of money?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling! I had the same thing happen with a museum in Paris. Paid a bunch extra for the "fast" ticket, then just stood there watching the normal line crawl past us at the exact same speed. Felt like a total sucker. It really makes you wonder if they just sell those to people who panic about waiting.

Wait, you actually check those things, @the_daniel? That's wild. I just pick a weekend that looks okay and hope for the best. Last time I went, the line for the big roller coaster was literally two hours long. Saw people just giving up and leaving. Felt like a total waste of a ticket.
