Booked a $19 bus from Austin to Dallas and it turned a 3.5 hour trip into 7 hours
Everyone on the budget forums swears by the cheap overnight buses but my ticket on the 11pm run got me to Dallas at 6am after three rest stops and a driver swap, all for a seat that didn't recline. If your time on the road matters at all, check the actual route stops before you click buy, since that $19 fare cost me a whole morning of my trip. Has anyone found a cheap route that actually keeps to the posted times?
