Blew $75 on a city transit pass in Rome that I used twice, the walkable center made it pointless
I picked up a 72 hour Roma pass for $75 last month thinking I would be hopping metros and buses all over the city, but almost every spot I wanted sat inside a 2 mile walk of my room near Piazza Navona and I ended up using the thing exactly twice. The buses were also slower than just walking most afternoons because of traffic, so I basically donated the money for a plastic card. Does anyone actually map out their transit pass vs walking before they land somewhere, or do you all just wing it like I did?
