My aunt swore thrift store sheets could look fancy with the right hack

She told me to iron them with a little cornstarch spray and now my $4 set from Goodwill looks just like the $80 linen ones my sister bought, has anyone else tried this trick for making cheap fabric feel bougie?

Oh wow, that's actually a great hack! I did something similar once with a cheap shower curtain liner - ironed it with a little starch and it suddenly looked like expensive fabric instead of plastic. My bathroom felt twice as fancy for like two bucks total.

Oh man I totally judged this trick at first, thought it was just extra work for no reason. But I tried it on some old flat sheets and honestly the texture change is wild, they look way more expensive now.
