Superintendent told me to 'just make it look good' on a corner job
Honestly, I was doing a brick veneer on a house out in Dayton last month and the corner was off by a half inch because the framing was shot. The super looked at it and said 'just make it look good, nobody will measure it' while I was holding my level right there. I ended up having to tear out 40 bricks and redo the whole return because the next guy on the crew called it out. Does anyone else get tired of fighting sloppy framing when the blame always lands on us?
