Scaffold accident in Cincinnati changed my setup routine forever
I was on a job off 5th Street back in March, and a plank shifted mid-morning because I skipped checking the pins on the second lift. My trowel went flying, and the foreman yelled at me for 10 minutes straight about the OSHA fine we almost got. Now I always walk the whole scaffold before the mortar mix gets even wet, like a pre-flight check. Anybody else got a close call that made them paranoid about their rig?
