My $90 laser level decided to take a swim in a mortar tub

I was setting up for a long run of soldier course on a garden wall last Thursday. Had the new laser level on a tripod, feeling fancy. Turned my back for maybe 30 seconds to grab a trowel and heard a splash. The whole setup had tipped right into a full mixing tub. Fished it out, but it just blinked red and died. The lesson was cheap, but the timing was awful. Anyone have a good, rugged level they trust not to go for a dip?

My DeWalt DW088K survived a fall into a sump pump hole last year. Still works fine.
