That's a serious amount of bricks to just forget about. Makes you wonder what the actual job was, like a whole backyard patio or something. Bet that was a pretty big check.

Man, that reminds me of a neighbor who had a pallet of roofing tiles just sitting in their driveway for like two years! They were going to redo their shed, but then just... didn't. It became a weird landmark. We'd give directions like "turn left at the house with the tiles.

Bet that receipt sat in there long enough to become a weird time capsule. Makes you wonder if you ever actually used the bricks or if they're still sitting somewhere waiting for a project that never happened. Kind of like finding a ghost of a job you almost finished.
