That orchid I overwatered in March is coming back after 4 months of neglect
I killed the roots on my phalaenopsis after a trip to Phoenix left it sitting in a saucer of water, so I chopped everything brown off, hung it upside down for two weeks, and now there are three fresh green tips poking out has anyone else saved a plant this way or am I just getting lucky?

Did you try whispering apologies to it every morning? That's my secret for keeping my peace lily alive, it responds better to guilt trips than water. I'm convinced plants thrive on pure spite, mine only bloomed after I threatened to replace it with a fake one. Congrats on the resurrection though, that's way better luck than I've ever had.
