My peace lily FINALLY bloomed after 3 years of just leaves

I got this thing as a sad little rescue from a garage sale in 2021 and it's been nothing but green forever, but this morning I walked into the kitchen and there's a white bloom staring at me like it's no big deal. Has anyone else had a plant that took forever to decide it was ready to show off?

Did you read that thing @rubyreed shared about light cycles triggering blooms? Congrats though.

It's funny how plants do that - kinda like how some friendships take years to really click, then suddenly it's like they were always meant to be there.
