My neighbor's prize orchid had a fake flower glued on it

She was bragging about this 'rare bloom' for months, a big purple thing. I finally got a close look last week and saw the hot glue gun strings. Took me a full 20 minutes of very careful poking with tweezers to get it off without her noticing. Has anyone else ever found a plant that was secretly a craft project?

My aunt had a cactus with a fake flower stuck on. A little rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab loosened the glue right up!

Rubbing alcohol works great for that. A dab of goo gone on a paper towel also gets the leftover sticky stuff off.

Ever wonder what else that rubbing alcohol trick works on? I got sticker gunk off a glass vase last week, and it took off old tape marks from a picture frame too. It's crazy how many sticky messes it can fix. Just make sure you test it on a small spot first if the surface is painted or something.
