My monstera put out 3 new leaves in 5 weeks after I moved it 4 feet away from the AC vent
I had it in the same corner for almost two years and it just sat there with brown tips on everything. Moved it to the other side of the room in early June and the difference was night and day, new growth just kept coming. Has anyone else had a houseplant that hated being near a vent this much?

The AC vent thing is real, it's like how people get cranky sitting right under a vent at the office and nobody puts two and two together. Same deal with plants, they just can't tell you their desk is too cold. Moving mine away from the window draft did the same thing, went from sad to jungle in like a month.
