Spent a whole Saturday fighting with my book press and it was just the felt
Finally figured out after 6 hours of wrestling with uneven pressure on my finishing press that the felt pad under the plate had compressed to half its thickness on one side, so now I'm wondering if anyone else checks their press pads regularly or if I'm just the slowest learner in this craft.
