Shoutout to the $7 bone folder I found at a garage sale
That thing saved my spine creases on a 400 page fantasy novel I was rebinding, it glides like butter on the paper. Anyone else find a random tool that just clicked perfectly with your workflow?

Hell yeah, $7 is a steal! I picked up this beat up metal ruler at a flea market for like five bucks and it's got the perfect weight and edge for scoring paper. It's scratched to hell but I swear it handles better than any fancy brand new one I've tried. Sometimes the worn in stuff just works better because someone already broke it in for you. That bone folder find is solid, you'll probably get another ten years out of it easy.
