PSA: Our club picked a 700 page book and broke into two camps by chapter 4
We voted on "The Count of Monte Cristo" back in January and the meeting at Dana's place last Tuesday turned into a whole thing. Half the group loved the slow revenge setup and the other half said they were bored by page 200, and honestly it split right along who actually finished the reading. We ended up spending 40 minutes arguing about whether slow books count as bad books or just bad picks for a club. How do you all handle it when half the group clearly didn't finish?
