PSA: Our book club spent 3 weeks stuck on one chapter of 'Infinite Jest'

Honestly, our group picked it for a deep read, but the endnotes debate completely derailed us. We argued for two whole meetings about whether to read them as we went or save them all for the end. Ngl, it took another week of back-and-forth emails and a poll to finally decide to read them inline. That whole mess added like 21 days to our schedule. Has your club ever gotten totally hung up on a book's format like that?

Ugh, that's the worst. Feels like every group project ever, just endless talk and no actual doing.

Oh man, tell me about it. I swear I've spent more of my life talking about starting things than actually doing them, my attention span's basically a goldfish at this point.
