Our club split 6 to 4 over reading the sequel first, and I picked wrong
I pushed hard for reading the second book in our pick before the first one since the plot sounded better. Six of us went with my pick and four stuck with reading them in order. Last Tuesday's meetup in Denver turned into 40 minutes of the other group explaining stuff I totally missed, and I left feeling like an idiot. The sad part is the sequel actually spoils the big twist of the first one on page 12, which nobody flagged. Has anyone else had a club vote go sideways like this?
