Our club read 50 books together and I think that number is a trap
Our book club in Sacramento just hit 50 books since we started meeting back in 2019, and half the group wants to throw a party while the other half says the count means nothing. I counted up my own reads from that list and I skipped 9 of them, mostly the 600 page ones I never finished. So now I'm wondering if hitting a number is even the point, or if it just makes us pick short books to keep the streak alive. Did your group ever hit a milestone and change how you pick books after?
