I accidentally took over our book club debate and it went south
We were talking about the twist in last month's pick, and I got so fired up about my theory. I kept talking over people who saw it differently, and the mood just died. Now the next host is nervous about picking a book with any surprises. I feel bad for not letting others have their say.
Wait what, the next host is scared to pick a book with a twist now? That's a huge overreaction for one bad debate. You getting loud about your theory shouldn't wreck the whole club's future fun. At least you know you steamrolled everyone, that's the first step.
