Hit 50 books read this year yesterday somehow

I set a goal of 24 for 2024 and just realized I passed 50 last night. That's more than I read in the last 5 years combined probably. It's not about bragging or anything, I just... didn't think I had it in me with work and everything. Has anyone else accidentally blown past their reading goal and felt kind of weird about it?

Man I had the same thing happen last year, set a goal of 20 and somehow ended up at 45. Felt like I was cheating or something, but it was just getting hooked on audiobooks during my commute.

Seems like you're framing this like some kind of accident when you clearly made it happen. 50 books doesn't just fall into your lap, you had to choose reading over scrolling or watching TV every day. That's not weird, that's just admitting you've got the habit now.
